Objectives

• To provide career guidance, placement support, and employment opportunities to students.

• To establish strong linkages with industries, hospitals, educational institutions, research organizations, NGOs, and corporate sectors.

• To enhance students’ employability skills through training programmes, workshops, and seminars.

• To facilitate internships, on-the-job training, and apprenticeship opportunities.

Functions and Activities

The Placement Cell undertakes a wide range of activities to support students’ career development, including:

• Organizing campus recruitment drives and placement interviews.

• Conducting career counseling sessions, resume-writing workshops, and mock interviews.

• Arranging skill development programmes focusing on communication skills, personality development, aptitude training, and professional ethics.

• Coordinating industrial visits, internships, and field exposure relevant to academic programmes.

• Maintaining a database of student profiles and employer requirements.

Industry Collaboration

The Placement Cell actively collaborates with industry partners, healthcare institutions, educational organizations, and service sectors to provide students with exposure to real-world professional environments. Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) are signed with reputed organizations to facilitate internships, training, and placement opportunities.
